SO THIS IS CHRISTMAS...
After 44 hours with a mere 8 hour sleep I finally arrived in Melbourne, Australia! I went via LA as I’m going back to America after OZ; whilst there I hit the shops as my time in transit was over 8 hours!
It’s so amazing to be back in OZ after so long. Jane picked me up from the airport and we headed to ‘Club Brisbane’; their house there. Tom arrived that night and because Uncle Mondo and Auntie Jane were so drunk I was the only one able to drive to the airport to pick him up, which was awesome as they have a nice and new Nissan X-Trail!
It’s so great to see Tom after so long and equally yummy to see his gorgeous girlfriend Rachel whose been studying at Brisbane uni on exchange from Aberystwyth. After staying up late chatting my head finally hit the pillow at 3am, but not for long as three hours later I was wide awake with nothing to do!
When morning came Jane took us on a tour of Melbourne; our first stop being the beach where we met none other than Shane Warne!! For lunch we hooked up with our good old friend Kate Fielden from home who is in OZ for Christmas too.
In the afternoon we headed to Mansfield and the farm. We’re here for the next week and on day two now. We’ve already done some riding and I’m looking forward to jumping on the motorbike and shooting some roos over the next few days.
