A Very Warm Welcome to You

Friends...well this is my first ever blog. I'm still at Surrey and I'm just starting to get things ready for the next five months away from home. Things are mental and it's crazy to think of the reality of packing up my everything and leaving...more so the realisation that if my parents move house then when I head off to Australia I may be saying my last goodbye to the family home!

So for those of you who don't know...I've opted to do the university exchange scheme and so am heading out for the second semester of my second year to the University of North Texas where my studies will focus on merchandising. I already have a very close friend there, a chap from Surrey with whom many of you will be familiar...Sir James of Woodhall!

However the twist to the tale of my adventure is that I will be going to Australia for a month before hitting the States...I'm off to visit my brother Tom and will be spending Christmas with my Mum's sister (Auntie Jane and Uncle Mondo) in Mansfield before heading up to Sydney for New Year and some travelling fun with my brother and his girlfriend Rachel. I'll try and update this blog as often as possible with pictures and some info as to what I've been up to!

You may be wondering why the gay photo...well it's a little joke with my main man Nick Andrews of the Blue Coat crew. It's as toff, and I think quite topically American look, as I could muster!
